As a busy mum of two, juggling two jobs and home life, I decided during the year I was turning 40 I'd set myself a challenge and enter the Brighton marathon.

A moment of madness as I had only just finished couch to 5k and 5k was the furthest I had ever run! Anyway, there I was beginning to slowly increase my running distances each week and this was going well until I was trying to run further than a half marathon and then I was really struggling to complete my long runs.

I've been a friend of Paul and his wife Ali for years and always been impressed by his sporting achievements. So I turned to Paul for some advice and thank goodness I did.

He taught me about how to properly fuel for my long runs and it made vast amounts of difference. Once I began carb loading before going out for long runs and fueling properly during my runs I found I could run for hours without getting fatigued. This was pivotal in completing my marathon as I don't think I would have made it round without correct fueling. He also helped me further by recommending running shoes, belts and other equipment to help me along the way.

I would recommend Paul to anyone working towards their personal fitness goals. His expert knowledge and experience helped me complete what felt like an unachievable goal! Thank you Paul

I started running last year with no real plan, and even after signing up for a marathon to challenge myself, I wasn’t seeing much progress. Working with Paul at PB Endurance Coaching completely changed that.

He gave me proper structure - tempo runs, intervals, long runs, plus some gym work - and the improvements in both my speed and endurance have been huge. Paul’s also been incredibly supportive, always checking in, giving advice, and keeping things interesting with new challenges. He convinced me to enter a competetive 10K to get used to racing, which ended up being a brilliant experience.

Training with Paul has given me focus, confidence, and results I never expected so soon. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get more out of their running.
